There is no doubt about it; technology advances have made our lives more convenient, more fun, and easier. We can shop online, talk to far-away friends online, apply for loans online, pay our bills online, play games online, and really do just about anything we want thanks to the Internet. Unfortunately, the downside to all this modern convenience is the fact that identity theft is quickly becoming a very real threat; in fact, it is becoming the fastest-growing crime in the United States.
